- This is just from email. There's no name here. This is just from email. "Why did you start wearing the headband?" And did you not start off the game without the headband last year?

CHRIS BOUCHER: Man-- hey, why'd you have to bring that up, man? I was doing good. Listen, OK? I'm going to tell you what happened.

- You had the headband on the third quarter.

CHRIS BOUCHER: Listen, I'm going to tell you exactly what happened. First of all, I--

- [? Ibrahim's ?] dying right now.

[? CHRIS BOUCHER: ?] [? What? ?]

- [? He ?] is dying.

CHRIS BOUCHER: I understand why you ain't put no name. Because honestly, if I knew your name, I would literally write back to you. But I [? start to ?] [? put ?] the headband because I needed a change, right?

I felt like something needed to change. I was playing my worst basketball. I didn't know what was going on.

I told myself, you know, if I change something, just-- I don't know what it is. At first, it was going to be this. It was going to be a wrist or whatever-- wristband, whatever.

And then I was like, I don't want to change anything [? on ?] my body. But, like, I'm going to just put a headband. Then I put a headband, and it kind of felt good.

You know, I kind of felt like I was kind of more focused, more in tune myself.

- Mm-hmm.

CHRIS BOUCHER: So then I ended up going with a headband. And then yesterday, I had a crisp line up-- [? yeah, yeah, ?] [? y'all ?] could see. So I was like, you know what? Fuck the headband. I need people to see that I got a nice line up.

- I feel you.

CHRIS BOUCHER: You feel me? But I don't feel me, 'cause--

[LAUGHTER]

Don't feel me, because what happened was I went in there, and I went back to the old Chris. The headband left, [? and the ?] Chris left with it. So I got there, and I felt like my head was too, like, open.

Like, I felt like it was too free, you know? Like, I was running, and I could feel everything. And it was just weird. So at half, I put that headband right back like I was-- like I was [? Super-- ?] putting his cape back.

- You went in in the--

CHRIS BOUCHER: It felt amazing.

- --second half, too.

CHRIS BOUCHER: Yeah, so this will never happen, no matter how my line up look.
