I cannot wait to cast my vote this November. First, head to Virginia's dedicated voting website at www.elections.virginia.gov/registration. On the left side of the home page click, How to Register. There, you'll see how to register online, in person or via mail. Have your social security number ready when filling out your application. Make sure you meet all the voting eligibility requirements. And you can find them by scrolling down the registration page and clicking, How Do I Become a Registered Voter.

Any registered voter in Virginia can request an absentee ballot. You can apply to vote by mail from the registration home page by clicking, Voter Forms. Then select Online Absentee Application, which will take you to your citizen portal to make your request. When you're voting in person in Virginia, be sure to have one of these forms of ID with you.
