Espanyol captain nets club's first hat-trick in over a decade 🇪🇸
Espanyol star Javi Puado demonstrated what it means to deliver for your club on Saturday.
At just 26 years old and wearing the armband, the forward pulled off a heroic hat-trick on Saturday to help the hosts see off Alaves 3-2.
His first arrived when he deflected home a cross, the second an inch-perfect header and the third from the penalty spot.
The feat is Espanyol’s first La Liga hat-trick in 11 years (Sergio Garcia, 2013). Puado now sits tied for second in the Golden Boot standings, one off leader Robert Lewandowski.

Back in June, it was also Puado’s two goals that helped Espanyol reach LaLiga for the 2024/25 season.
Oh, captain, my captain.
