Home seating for watching Harry meet Sally or the Miami Heat meet the Denver Nuggets shouldn’t threaten to burn your home. That’s why Ashley Furniture on Thursday recalled 262,450 Party Time Collection loveseats, sofas and recliners.

The exact problem, as stated in the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice: “The power loveseats’, sofas’, and recliners’ cupholders with LED lighting can overheat, posing a fire hazard.”

Ashley has heard of six times that the cupholder has overheated, “resulting in fire and smoke damage and damaged furniture.”

This covers the Party Time Collection loveseats, model Nos. 3700318, 3700418, 3700318C and 3700418C; sofas, model Nos. 3700315, 3700415, 3700315C and 3700415C; and the recliners, model Nos. 3700313, 3700413, 3700313C and 3700413C.
