Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger has announced that her newborn baby daughter Lorena has tragically died.

Goodger shared a photograph to social media of her holding her daughter's hand, before revealing her heartbreak over losing her child on Friday (July 8).

"R.I.P 08.07.22. She was the most beautiful healthy baby I've ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.

"Words can't describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth to for my angel to be taken from me."

Goodger said her baby Lorena was born "with no pregnancy or labour complications", further explaining: "She was fine and healthy but I am not going into detail right now, just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself. She was perfect, I can't understand it. She is so so beautiful, Larose's twin [they're] so similar."

She went on to state that she is now at home, and that she and Lorena's farther Charlie Drury spent as much time as they could with their daughter, before saying goodbye, though she insisted this was not the final goodbye she would give her "beautiful" daughter.

Describing her other daughter Larose as her "rock that's getting me through this", she concluded by expressing her love for her newborn: "I will never ever get over this but I will learn how to live everyday with Lorena in my heart. She will be with me always and I will be with her again one day. My Lorena I love you so much."
