Nick Nurse is having a month. From winning the NBA Championship, to cruising along in a parade with million of Toronto fans, to making a feature appearance on stage with one of Canada’s most famous bands, the Arkells, he’s graduated to the title of ultimate rock star.

The Raptors coach gained notoriety with his musical talent after a photo of him slinging a guitar over shoulder on a road trip during the NBA playoffs went viral.

The Arkells took note of his musical passion, and tweeted Nurse after the championship win. They invited him to play a solo at any Arkells show for the rest of time.
It only took 9 days to make it happen, in Toronto of all places.

The crowd went wild when Nurse showed up to slay at Budweiser Stage.
No word on if Nurse will preform an encore to Queen’s We Are The Champions or not.
