How much are tickets for the Hattiesburg Super Regional? They’re pricey and hard to find.

If you’re hoping to catch Super Regional action between Southern Miss and Tennessee in Hattiesburg this weekend, good luck.

The NCAA awarded USM a host bid on Tuesday and the market for tickets quickly exploded. The only problem? Southern Miss won’t be selling any tickets.

In a statement, the school said it “does not anticipate selling tickets to the general public due to selling out Pete Taylor Park this season.”

The school has since deleted that sentence from its statement, but has not provided any means to purchase tickets for non-season ticket holders.

As a result, a seat in Pete Taylor Park is one of the hottest-selling tickets on the aftermarket right now.

At the time of this writing, StubHub had six tickets available for game one on Saturday starting at $431 and just six for Sunday’s game, starting at $422.

The if-necessary game three on Monday is a bit more flexible, with over a dozen tickets at just $263.

Seatgeek.com has less than 10 tickets available for the full weekend, but the prices are a bit more manageable, ranging from $257 to $449.

Southern Miss is ninth nationally in average attendance this season at 5,106 fans per game. That figure stands higher than several SEC programs, including Tennessee.

The first pitch for game one is set for 3 p.m. on ESPNU.
