Podcast: Leicester City fires Claudio Ranieri ... harsh decision or justified?

May 2, 2016: Leicester City, under manager Claudio Ranieri, beats 5,000-to-1 odds and raises the Premier League trophy.

Jan. 9, 2017: Ranieri wins the FIFA Best Men’s Coach award for guiding the Foxes to the most miraculous championship.

Feb. 23, 2017: Leicester fires Ranieri, citing the club’s “Premier League status under threat” by being just a point above the relegation zone in 17th place.
