Canucks Gameday Preview #51: Vancouver Heads To Dallas Looking To Push Win Steak To Four
The Vancouver Canucks (23-17-10) wrap up their three-game road trip on Friday when they take on the Dallas Stars (32-17-1). With a victory, the Canucks would extend their win streak to four games, which would tie their longest of the season. As for the Stars, they also come into this game having won three straight and will have their eyes set on their 19th home win of the season.

Defeating Dallas won't be easy, as they are one of the best defensive teams in the NHL. The Stars are giving up 26.6 shots per game and sit third in goals against per game at 2.46. If Vancouver wants to extend their win streak, they will need a full team effort and, most likely, some offensive production from their bottom six.
Players to Watch:
Jake DeBrusk:
Jake DeBrusk has had a solid first 50 games with the Canucks. That being said, his offence has dried up as of late, as he only has one assist in his previous 11 games. If DeBrusk can find the back of the net while continuing his strong defensive play, it will go a long way in stretching the win streak to four games.
Logan Stankoven:
Logan Stankoven is having a strong rookie season with the Stars. The former Kamloops Blazers center has 24 points in 48 games and is seeing consistent time on the power play. Projected to play on Dallas' third line with Roope Hintz and Sam Steel, Stankoven is a pain to play against and will make life difficult for Vancouver all night.
