Britain’s Got Talent has confirmed Cillian O'Connor and Lillianna Clifton are the last two semi-finalists ahead of the grand final (aside from the wildcard).

Friday's instalment (June 2) saw the live semi-finals conclude at the Hammersmith Apollo with just 48 hours to go until the main event. Taking to the stage were dancers Lillianna Clifton, Romeo & Icy and Golden Buzzer act Unity.

Nurse Georgie Carroll hoped to wow with her comedy and Cillian O'Connor brought a host of new magic tricks. The Pixiebelles, singer Cammy Barnes and Tonikaku rounded off the last group of hopefuls.

After the acts had performed the judges gave their verdict on the night, with judges Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon in agreement that all of tonight's acts deserved to be in the final.

"I'm really worried someone great is going to go home," Alesha said. "It's going to be a difficult one tonight."

"There was so many acts that deserved to go straight through," Amanda added.

Following the public vote Cillian O'Connor, Lillianna Clifton and Tonikaku made it to the top three, with the highest-scoring act Cillian going straight to the final.

It was now down to the judges to choose between Lillianna Clifton and Tonikaku. Bruno chose "the greatest dancer" Lillianna alongside Alesha and Amanda, sending her to the final alongside Cillian before Simon could vote.

The line-up for the final was now confirmed with Lillianna and Cillian joining Musa Motha, Amy Lou, Viggo Venn, Olivia Lynes, Ghetto Kids, Travis George, Malakai Bayoh and Duo Odyssey.

However, all was not over as Ant and Dec confirmed that there would be a wildcard option picked by the judges and announced on Sunday's show, with Simon hinting that he would be arguing for a third-placed act after Tonikaku failed to make it to the final.

Britains Got Talent will return this Sunday (June 4) where the final acts will battle it out to win a £250k cash prize and a place at the Royal Variety Performance later this year.
