Blackhawks Reveal Goalie For Pre-Season Finale
It's all over tonight.
The Chicago Blackhawks play their final pre-season game tonight. The team is currently winless through all of their pre-season games.
The Blackhawks will play the St. Louis Blues before kicking off their regular season schedule on Tuesday, October 8th. They will be the first team to play the Utah Hockey Club in the regular season.

The Blues will take a similar approach to their lineup as the Blackhawks are. Both teams are icing prospect-heavy rosters. This will level the playing field and should make for an entertaining game.
Connor Bedard will play in tonight's contest. Lukas Reichel and Philipp Kurashev will pair up with the sophomore.
Soderblom will play the full game in net. Bedard will play with Reichel and Kurashev.

According to Ben Pope of the Chicago Suntimes, Arvid Soderblom will play the entire game in net. Soderblom has only played one pre-season match thus far. In that game, he allowed two goals on 31 shots against.
Soderblom played 32 games last season. He sported a 5-22-2 record, a 3.89 goals against average (GAA), and a .880 save percentage (SV%). He is poised to share the net with Petr Mrazek for the 2024-25 season.
He is in the second year of a two-year deal, paying him $962,500. The 25-year-old could prove his worthiness of the starter position with another good showing tonight.
The puck will drop just after 7 PM Central Time tonight. The game will not air on Sportsnet, but will be available on Chicago Sports Network.
