Abraham explains Leao connection and declares: “I don’t think anyone has seen the real me”
Tammy Abraham was among the stars of the show for AC Milan last night as they ran out 6-1 winners against Sassuolo in the Coppa Italia.
It was a ruthless attacking show for Milan who scored four times inside 11 first-half minutes. Samuel Chukwueze opened the scoring, Tijjani Reijnders scored a rocket to make it 2-0, Chukwueze netted again and then Rafael Leao got in on the act.
Davide Calabria and Abraham also scored either side of a consolation for the visitors to seal an eventual 6-1 victory, which books a potential quarter-final tie against the Englishman’s parent club Roma (or Sampdoria).
The former Chelsea man had turned provider for most of the first half, getting an assist, but he got his goal when the substitute Okafor played a ball through the defence that he was able to collect and lift over the goalkeeper.
Abraham spoke to reporters after the game in the press conference room at San Siro to give his thoughts on what was a very entertaining night for the fans. MilanNews relayed his words.
