Yahoo Sports The 11th Fast & Furious Movie Will Debut April 4, 2025
Fast X, the tenth installment in the Fast franchise, has been in theaters for less than a month. That hasn't stopped star Vin Diesel from taking to Instagram to reveal the sequel's debut date: April 4, 2025.
Th 11th installment into the Fast series of movies, tentatively called Fast X: Part II, will carry on where Fast X left off, following Dominic Toretto, his family, and his crew of highly skilled accomplices as they battle against villain Dante, played by Jason Momoa.
"For those who didn’t know the FastX was just part one, know that part two is going to be an effort from our fast family and studio like you have never seen," Diesel wrote.
Not much has been released about the plot to Fast X: Part II, but one major player has confirmed their return: Hobbs, the character played by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson who first appeared in Fast Five.
Johnson took to Instagram to confirm his reprisal of the role. He also confirmed another spin-off movie (the second following 2019's Hobbs & Shaw) would debut to "serve as a fresh, new chapter and set up for Fast X: Part II," according to Digital Spy. Expect that film to premiere sometime in 2024.
