NBA player uses unorthodox motivational tactic

John Wall was second in the NBA in turnovers last season, so he’s taking some interesting steps to remedy that number.

The Wizards point guard has made an agreement with assistant coach Howard Eisley to pay him $100 every time he has a three-turnover game.

Wall committed three-plus turnovers in 62 games last season, which would have translated to $6,200 dollars for Eisley.

It’s difficult to say whether or not this will be enough motivation for a player who will make around $16 million in the 2015-16 season, but it seems like a great deal for Eisley.
