PSG signing Lucas Moura says Leo Messi is ‘like a mirror image’ of him

Some of the biggest clubs in Europe tried to lure 20-year-old Brazilian sensation Lucas Moura away from Sao Paulo last summer as he was being compared to some of the biggest names in the sport. Comparisons that Lucas Moura, who will join PSG in January for a Fernando Torres level fee, gladly reinforces.

From Sky Sports:

"In my opinion, my style is similar to Messi," Moura told France Football.

"We get the ball and we attack immediately. We receive blows but we go on. He doesn't fall, he doesn't dive. I am just the same - I hardly complain.

"It is for all those reasons that I like Messi a lot and I can recognise myself in him. Actually, it is like a mirror image of me."

You might say that this is no way to set reasonable expectations for himself just before his big move, but I would argue that this is actually proof that his new teammate, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, already has him trolling Barcelona like a loyal sidekick. This could be the start of a fruitful partnership.
