DTotD: Dundee teammates smash faces in attempt to head the ball

Dirty Tackle

Aberdeen beat Dundee 2-0 in their Scottish Premier League match on Saturday, but Dundee's Kyle Benedictus and Declan Gallagher lost a bit more than their teammates. Both tried to head a ball that popped up off the foot of an Aberdeen player and instead collided face to face.

Bloodied by the Glasgow kiss they gave each other, Benedictus and Gallagher received treatment but would finish out the match.

This has been the Dirty Tackle of the Day: a chronicling of unfortunate events.
