DTotD: Atletico-MG’s Rever delivers a vicious forearm to Flamengo player’s head, pretends he got hit too

Ronaldinho's first visit to Flamengo since he left the club on bitter terms turned nasty in the second half. Flamengo were leading Atletico-MG 2-1 in the 70th minute when Atletico defender Rever whipped around and smashed Flamengo's Victor Caceres across (full-speed replay at 1:06 into the video). And when Caceres fell to the ground, Rever also went down holding his face.

Caceres was shown a yellow card, Rever was sent off and Atletico's Jo was also booked for shoving Marcos Gonzalez. Flamengo held on the for 2-1 win and the 30,000 whistles every time he touched the ball kept Ronaldinho quiet. Rever, meanwhile, should be in line for a ban or a switch to UFC.
