Five things to know about tonight's NHL games ...

1. Rangers/Ducks Rematch. The Rangers and the Ducks face each other for the second time this season, following the Ducks' 6-0 win on Oct. 10. That was when the Rangers were a mess; now, they've won three of four and can reach .500 with a win at MSG.

2. Dorsett Doesn't Buy It. The NHL fined Hurricanes defenseman Ryan Murphy $2,213.68 for his clipping minor on the Rangers’ Derek Dorsett on Saturday. Dorsett doesn't agree with Murphy's description of the play, via Rangers Rants: “From the angles I’ve seen of the replay, he was down on all fours, basically on his hands and knees, obviously direct contact with the knees and luckily nothing bad happened out of it, because once you start hitting knees it can be career ending injuries. I don’t think it was a very smart play on his behalf. In the scrum he was saying, ‘Hip check, hip check,’ but I’ve been hip checked before and hip checks are good hits and that was not a hip check. It is what it is, it’s over with.”

3. Tootoo Returns. Jordin Tootoo is back in the lineup for the Red Wings, playing his first game in his native Manitoba as the Wings visit MTS Centre for the first time.

4. Ellerby Debuts. Keaton Ellerby, claimed by the Jets on waivers from the Los Angeles Kings, is expected to make his debut for Winnipeg. “It’s no fun being in that position (on waivers), but it’s part of the game. A lot of guys go through it and not everybody gets claimed," he said.

5. Goalies Getting 10-Game Suspensions? Gary Lawless hears the NHL will consider 10-game suspensions for goalie fights, which sound much easier than a establishing a rule that would automatically suspend one goalie that skates down and assaults another goalie.

Bold Prediction: Ryan Callahan scores in his returns to the Rangers' lineup.
