The 10-man rotation, starring the rampaging Atlanta Hawks

A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.

C: Sports Illustrated. We’ve already linked to it twice on Tuesday, but Lee Jenkins’ profile of the 50-win (and counting) Atlanta Hawks is worth a re-read.
PF: Hardwood Paroxysm. Evans Clinchy on how uneasy it is, to some, to be pushing anyone (and, in this instance, James Harden) as clear favorites in the NBA MVP race.
SF: DNAinfo. That borderline-offensive and probably inappropriate Derrick Rose shrine was dismantled on Monday night, probably by someone who either read my angry reaction to it or someone who had to watch the Bulls blow a winnable game on Monday night.
SG: Salt Lake City Hoops. Taking a look at how the Utah Jazz have turned into a dominant defensive outfit, in ways that go far beyond the ascension of Rudy Gobert and growth of Dante Exum. This is a killer column.
PG: Washington Post. The great Michael Lee with a feature on Michael Beasley, now attempting to get it right in his third try with the Miami Heat.
6th: NBA.com. As always, the candidates for Coach of the Year run deeper than any of the NBA’s other official awards.
7th: SB Nation. With that in place, Tom Ziller and Paul Flannery discuss just how maddening it can be to try to objectively rank NBA coaches.
8th: ESPN Dallas. Dirk Nowitzki is not exactly entering winter, but he’s not all that far away from it. Sigh.
9th: AZ Central. Paul Coro talks to Danny Granger’s decision to stick with the Phoenix Suns and work with their much-envied medical staff.
10th: Portland Tribune. Adam Silver thinks that we didn’t notice the ads on jerseys over All-Star weekend.

We noticed them, Adam. We’re just too cynical and too frustrated to raise another hackle, as the NBA chases down tackier and tackier streams of revenue that will never, ever age well. Unlike the game itself.
