Sioux Falls Stampede’s Thomas Forgione scores diving goal in USHL (VIDEO)

Got to love the hustle. Last Saturday, the Sioux Falls Stampede's Thomas Forgione scored an inspired goal during his team's win over the Lincoln Stars. After taking a long stretch pass, the puck seemed to be rolling out of reach, but Forgione scored with a headlong diving chip shot.

The rest of us could probably spend all day trying to recreate that on an outdoor rink and not get the puck over a goaltender-sized barrier.

That goal helped Sioux Falls knock off one of the United States Hockey League rivals, the Lincoln Stars. Forgione, 19, is sixth in scoring on the Stampede as he works toward playing college hockey for his hometown Vermont Catamounts in Burlington, Vt.
