Photos: Halloween in the CFL

The CFL's players, staffers and fans are getting into the Halloween spirit too, and thus far, they've done so in less stupid fashion than, say, Tyler Bozak. The best player costumes I've seen are those seen above: Hamilton Tiger-Cats' receiver Dave Stala dressed as a frightening clown and Edmonton fullback Darcy Brown dressed up as an angry football with teammate J.C. Sherritt's number. (Oddly enough, Brown played with the Tiger-Cats this year before his trade to the Eskimos, so perhaps Hamilton produces creative players?) Here are some of the other highlights so far:

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any pumpkins for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats or Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Twitter user pixnpucks sent me one suggestion based on their play this year, though. We are in the run-up to the 100th Grey Cup, so let's cap this off with a pumpkin carved specially for that occasion:

Happy Halloween, CFL fans!
