Lakers-Heat tickets million dollar offer

Lakers-Heat tickets million dollar offer

Are you a recent lottery winner? Still not sure what to do with that pesky million bucks you can't seem to get rid of? Perhaps you could treat yourself and a friend to the Miami Heat-Los Angeles Lakers game in Miami this coming season. Depending on where you would like to sit, it could actually take the whole million - and then some.

That's right. Currently on StubHub, there are two courtside seats to the January 23, 2014 at the AmericanAirlines Arena on sale for $1,100,002.49. It should be noted that the whopping pricetag "includes service fees and delivery" for the value-conscious shopper. And in case you didn't already think a pair of tickets going for the Dr. Evil-friendly price of 'one million dollars' was steep, Stubhub is careful to point out, "Prices may be higher than face value." We can only imagine the response to this offer around the world. Riiiiight.

Monday night was chock full of clutch home runs as the MLB postseason continues. Juan Uribe hit a two-run shot in the bottom of the 8th inning to propel the Los Angeles Dodgers past the Atlanta Braves. The 4-3 win eliminate the Braves and sends the Dodgers to the NLCS. Tampa Bay Rays catcher Jose Lobaton hit a walkoff homer in the 9th against the Boston Red Sox to win 5-4 and force a Game 4. And the St. Louis Cardinals kept their playoff hopes alive by beating the Pittsburgh Pirates 2-1. Their two runs came on a two-run homer from Matt Holliday.

In Monday Night Football, quarterback Geno Smith led the New York Jets to a 30-28 comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons. Smith threw three touchdowns in the game and became only the second rookie quarterback to do so on Monday Night Football. The only other rookie to ever do that: Dan Marino.
