MINTY BETS: Welcome to "Yahoo Sportsbook Daily." It's Tuesday, March 29, 2022. And I'm your betting guide, Minty Bets, here to chat some hockey.

All right, first match-up we got here will be between the New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins. The Rangers and Penguins have met twice this season already, each with one win and one loss. The Rangers are only a game behind Pittsburgh in the standings, and this one should be a great game.

Igor Shesterkin has started in both meetings against the Penguins this season and only allowed 1 goal in each of those match-ups. I'm kind of feeling this game to be low-scoring, but every time I bet an NHL under, 3 goals are scored within, like, the first five minutes. So I'm going to look to bet on the New York Rangers here.

Pittsburgh has had the upper hand, winning four of their last six match-ups, but I'm not going to bet against Igor Shesterkin. Don't get me wrong. Tristan Jarry is a phenomenal goalie for Pittsburgh.

But New York is playing hot. These teams are pretty evenly matched, so I'll take the value with the road dog. If Shesterkin gets the start, I'm on the Rangers.

Next up, we have the Ottawa Senators at Nashville Predators. These are two teams on opposite ends of the spectrum. I love digging into games like this. I'm going to look to the total, and I'm guessing it'll be set at six.

The Senators are so, so bad in the net. They don't have a single reliable goaltender between Forsberg, Murray, or Gustavsson. Nashville has Saros, and he's excellent. But lately he's been giving up quite a few goals. In his last four starts, he's allowed 3 or more goals and averaged a save percentage of only .887 in those games.

Nashville is 11th in goals scored per game. They're also third-highest in shooting percentage, have the seventh-best power percentage, and they're 6 and 0 to the over their last six games. So we're going to go over 6 goals.

Keep in mind, I like this pick a lot less if it's set at 6 and 1/2. I think it's a bit too high for my liking. So if it's 6, we're going over. At 6 and 1/2, I'll pass.

Lastly, the Philadelphia Flyers at the Minnesota Wild. This will be Philly's fifth road game of this stretch. The Flyers have hit the over in four straight games, scoring at least 3 or more goals in all of those games. Not only that, but neither Carter Hart or Martin Jones are performing well between the pipes this season, both posting a save percentage of under .910.

The Minnesota Wild are a team on my do-not-bet list. They're are an inconsistent and wild team. Maybe that's how they got their name. The Wild are on a nice little streak, winning and hitting the under in their last five games.

But let's not forget that they're the fourth-best scoring team in the league with the second-best shooting percentage. That going up against one of Philly's underperforming goalies-- I see lots of goals in this one. According to the charts, the Flyers are scoring the second-fewest goals, but I believe they can compete with the Wild and cause this to maybe be a shootout. So I'm going to take the over here.

Now, to recap my picks, I've got the Rangers on the moneyline, the Senators and Predators over 6, and the Flyers and Wild over 6. You can follow me on Twitter over @mintybets. And follow all of our content over at Yahoo Sportsbook.
