Traveler Captures Pensacola Lightning Show From Airplane Window

A passenger flying over Pensacola, Florida, captured an intense lightning show from his airplane window on Thursday, June 15, footage shows.

The National Weather Service (NWS) warned of tornadoes, hail, and scattered wind gusts up to 80 mph for parts of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi as severe thunderstorms moved through the region overnight on June 15.

Pensacola was particularly affected, as the thunderstorms triggered a flash flood emergency in the area, according to the NWS.
