Spectacular Winners Of The 2024 World Sports Photography Awards Unveiled

These are the incredible winning photos in the 2024 World Sports Photography Awards. Over 1,400 professional sports photographers from more than 80 countries submitted over 9,000 images to this year’s competition. 24 winning images spanned across sports categories including American Football, Basketball, Cycling, Gymnastics, Extreme Sports, and Football. This year's winning photo captured Japanese gymnast Daiki Hashimoto at the 2023 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Antwerp. Snapped by Belgian photographer Eric T’Kindt, the photo captures the extraordinary moment where athlete, spectacle, and photographer converge in perfect harmony. The World Sports Photography Awards are the only global awards for sport photography. Designed to recognise and celebrate incredible sports images and the photographers who take them the awards tell compelling stories of the emotion, passion, athleticism and focus that are at the heart of sport.
