Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes discuss the win vs. the Bulls, how the team is working to have better ball movement and more.

Video Transcript

- OK, everybody. Thank you.

- Great to you see you there.

- The way the ball was moving around, and also, just the production was kind of spread through the whole-- most of the lineup. I mean, what does that say to you?

SCOTTIE BARNES: It just shows our focus out there on the floor. We're just trying to keep the ball moving and keep it going around, side to side. We feel like we get some good offense that way. Sometimes we get stagnant, but we just keep trying to get back to it. No matter what type of shot we get, we just try to hang our heads right back on defense. Get a stop. Take the ball out and try to push it right back. And try to get a good possession each and every time.

- Do you think you're a more dangerous team when you have so many different guys contributing?

SCOTTIE BARNES: For sure. That's what it's about, just having a whole team that can be able to contribute each and every single game. That's what's important for our team. It's going to help our team's success.

- Scottie, Gary, coming into tonight hadn't had such a great statistical season compared to what he's done before. But with him on the court, the offense, statistically, is better and you're better. Why do you think that is?

SCOTTIE BARNES: You know, Gary. We all know what Gary can do out there on the floor. He can score the ball, play some defense. But he's really good at scoring the ball and putting the ball in the basket. So you know, he's going to be aggressive when he's out there on the floor, looking for those shots. We all know he can make those shots.

- Why do you think your numbers are better with him?

SCOTTIE BARNES: When?

- Offensively. Like you're scoring, your efficiency and all that.

SCOTTIE BARNES: What are you talking about?

- When Gary's on the court with you.

SCOTTIE BARNES: Oh. You know, I like Gary. Oh. When I pass the ball to Gary, he shoots it so. I love that about him. Yeah.

- Scottie, what are the differences between how moves-- between how they used to in the floor and the role that [INAUDIBLE] has you on the floor?

SCOTTIE BARNES: Say it again.

- Sorry. What are the difference between the role that Ninos has you in the floor and what Nikola Jakovich has you in on the floor.

SCOTTIE BARNES: We're just trying to get some ball movement. So we're just out there just trying to play good basketball. I don't really-- Know-- huh?

- As a player.

SCOTTIE BARNES: That's what I'm saying. I don't really know what the role is. I'm trying to be aggressive when I'm out there on the floor. But we're just trying to get good shots and play good basketball. I feel like that's going to find us out there on the floor, no matter what's going on. Once we move the ball around, get some good shots. That's-- That's what it is. We're going to have some good production when we're out there on the floor. But I don't really know the specific. I'm just going out there playing each and every game. Just trying to go out there and try to win.

- Scottie, how did the court feel this time around? Because I know the last game, your last season tournament game, Precious was talking about a little bit, and Jaylen Brown got hurt. Did it feel any different this time around?

SCOTTIE BARNES: Nah they both-- I don't know. I don't know. It felt good to me. I'm not feeling people. Felt good to me. I like it. Court's nice. Vitamins nice. Games nice. So it's fun.

- It was a good night tonight

SCOTTIE BARNES: Yeah, it's great.

- I know.

SCOTTIE BARNES: [INAUDIBLE]

- Great.

- Go for it.
