Ryan Murphy, Katie Grimes headline U.S. Olympic medalists in Monday’s swim finals
Yahoo Sports’ Katie Hoff and Missy Franklin recap Monday’s swimming finals in Paris, highlighting the incredible performances of Team USA swimmers, including Katie Grimes' silver, Emma Weyant's bronze, and Ryan Murphy's historic medal streak.

Hey everyone, Missy Franklin here and Kh and we're here with Yahoo Sports and we're going to give you all of the recap.
So starting off with the women's 400.
I am.
Oh my gosh, thank God, I had waterproof mascara.
You were crying legit.
I was here.
I mean to have Katie Grimes bring home the silver medal to see her break down on the metal stand.
It just, it brought me to tears.
So, so, so proud of her and then we got the one on the podium as well with a bronze medal.
So to see that event continue the legacy, I mean, just awesome and Emma's second straight podium in an Olympics, which is just so so impressive.
And to have again, two Americans on the podium no matter what is just such an incredible honor, so incredible.
And the crowd was going wild, which I love and then we kept the momentum rolling.
We had the men's 200 freestyle final.
We had Luke Hobson first Olympics any time your first Olympics, anytime, any Olympics, but to win a bronze medal at your first Olympics go Long Horns, my husband there.
That's why so so proud of him and he's having an incredible me already.
Yeah, that was the best time for him.
Amazing second half surge to get his hand on the wall, bring home another medal for the US.
And finally we had the men's 100 backstroke.
Ryan Murphy continuing to cement himself as one of the greatest backstroker of all time.
This is his third straight Olympics to medal.
He brought home the bronze medal and you guys, he is five for five in individual backstroke events for medal at the Olympics.
That is so, so insanely impressive.
I can't even wrap my mind around it.
We brought home incredible hardware for the US.
