Nova Scotia camp ‘life changing’ for Indigenous girls

From July 8, 2022: A special summer camp is underway in Halifax and Dartmouth. Camp Courage has been training teenage girls in emergency services since 2006. This year, it launched its first Indigenous camp. Twenty-eight girls from across Atlantic Canada are learning paramedic, police and fire skills. But they're also connecting with their culture and making lifelong friendships. Here's that story from CBC reporter Victoria Welland.
