ARIEL EPSTEIN: What's going on, Yahoo? I'm the Prop Queen, Ariel Epstein, giving you three different players to look at in Yahoo Daily Fantasy for Major League Baseball. Let's start with a pitcher. I know it's pricey and it's $52, however I love the Toronto Blue Jays starter Alek Manoah. He's going up against the Los Angeles Angels, who have the seventh highest K rate in all of Major League Baseball.
Manoah's been striking out batters like crazy, and his ERA is just a 1.62. Not only are you going to get the points in DFS for the strikeouts, he's going to give you the innings and likely, hopefully, give you a win. Manoah has been going at least six to eight innings in most of his starts, except one this year, in addition to the fact that Manoah hasn't given up more than 2 runs on the road. Give me Alek Manoah in my lineup for $52 tonight.
For $16, I'm going to put the second baseman of the Philadelphia Phillies, Jean Segura, in my lineup. He's up against Cookie Carrasco, who he has a great batting average against, hitting .438. This also includes one double, three home runs, and 5 RBIs. Give me Jean Segura in my lineup tonight.
Another infield spot. You can take a first baseman, and that's the Minnesota Twins first baseman Luis Arráez for $15. He's going up against the Kansas City Royals starter Brad Keller, who has struggled on the road his entire career. This year, Keller has a 4.67 road ERA. And Arráez has a really good history against him, hitting .600. Arráez is also hitting really well right now. He's got a .347 batting average and has had a multi-hit game in five of his last seven. Give me Luis Arráez in my lineup tonight.
Here's your MLB DFS recap. For $52, I'm playing the Toronto Blue Jays starter Alek Manoah. For $16, Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Jean Segura. And $15, Minnesota's first baseman Luis Arráez. That's it for me, your Prop Queen, Ariel Epstein, here on this Friday in Major League Baseball. Good luck with your bets tonight.
