SCOTT PIANOWSKI: I'm Scott. That's Dalton. Today, we're talking second base conviction plays, players we're going to pound the table for on draft day. Dalton, what you got?

DALTON DEL DON: Brandon Lowe is a prime bounce-back candidate, whose going far later in fantasy drafts than last year. He's one season removed from providing more than 45 homers and steals in fewer than 150 games. Yet, he's now sporting an ADP outside of 150. The Bat X is projecting Lowe to post the second highest WRC plus among all second baseman this year, which reveals plenty of fantasy upside if he can just stay healthy. He's slated to hit cleanup in Tampa Bay's lineup, and Lowe has seen his career batting average increase a whopping 42 points when not facing a shift. So go get him.

SCOTT PIANOWSKI: The Bat X is also projecting Dalton to finish eighth in the friends and family league, but we won't talk about that today. Marcus Semien's my conviction play. He signs with Texas, off to a horrible start. If you rank everybody from May 18th onward, he was fantasy baseball's number four player, and he was valuable positively in all five offensive categories. He just needs some time to get settled. He's a hard worker. He qualified to second base and shortstop. Who doesn't like flexibility? And he's priced outside the top 30 right now in Yahoo league. So he's a second round talent, third round price. Go get Marcus Semien.
