PASCAL SIAKAM: Malachi was great, man. I love his energy. Like I said, I always see Malachi getting he's work in every single day. I can see his focus is different. He comes into the game with a different approach. And he's just locked in. And I think most of the time, it's like when you know you're going to play, it gives you a little bit more. Because sometimes, yeah, so you're not looking over your shoulder. He's confident out there, picking up full court, guarding, making the right plays. I think that's the most important for him.

DARKO RAJAKOVIC: I saw a lot of passion. I saw a desire to help the team, to do his job. And he stepped on the court, defended really well. He was aggressive. He was also touching the paint. Obviously he made a couple more layups there when he was in the paint. But he was ultimate team guy today.

AMIT MANN: We've got to wrap up with Malachi Flynn. Man, oh, man. I love when he is this feisty version of himself. So I mentioned the 8 points in the second quarter, but then later on fourth quarter, he gets a tough drive off a floater. And then he's able to corral a loose ball and eventually does again get a layup.

And the other thing right here-- this is my favorite part-- is that, as I mentioned, they were pre-switching a lot of the action with Tyrese Haliburton in those pick and rolls. And it turned out that he was in the paint against Jalen Smith. Jalen's a big dude. And there was Malachi fronting him, denying him, not letting him get the ball. And the Pacers were trying to get it to him. And Malachi was like, nope. Nope. I got Kyle Lowry DNA in me. He wouldn't let it happen.

These are the things that I loved about Malachi when he was drafted. And he was also checked in towards the end of the game for Gary Trent Jr. on a few big defensive possessions. So Malachi, his stock just continues to rise. I mean, how good, how consistent is he? Is he a solidified top seven player in the rotation? I don't know what it is exactly, but I know that he keeps on playing well.

And that's great to see, especially with everything he's dealt with in his career. As a Raptor, he just keeps on getting better, keeps on getting more confident. Shots are falling and loving seeing some of these drives toward the basket. He's finishing in the paint. It's good stuff from him.
