Local standout transfers to Mississippi College to play for his father

Former St. Andrews star and Southern Miss guard Rashad Bolden is transferring to Mississippi College. His father, Randy, is the head coach at Mississippi College. This will be the first time the pair will be head coach and player. Rashad comes in after a year at McNeese State. He ended up not playing last season due to a shin fracture. Now he's healthy and ready to help his father continue to build the Choctaws program. Mississippi College had their best season since returning to Divison II basketball and made it to the Gulf South Conference tournament for the first time since 1996.
