Yahoo Sports NBA draft analyst Krysten Peek runs through her latest top five in her mock of this month's draft, highlighted by a prospect’s long ascension to the top spot.

The NBA draft is at the end of this month and players are busy traveling around the country working out for teams and meeting with executives.

A new player is emerging as the number one pick to the Atlanta Hawks as French Wing Zachary Ricer has been incredible during the LNB pro A playoffs for Borgen Bross.

Let's take a look at the latest top five for Yahoo sports' recent mock draft at number one is this 6 ft nine sharpshooter out of France, Zachary Rica, similar to Bal Kluba last year.

Rha's strong showing in the playoffs has catapulted his draft stock and he's playing like the best prospect in this class.

His combination of defensive versatility size and outside shooting sets him apart from the rest of the pack and he can be slotted into multiple team systems.

So even if the Hawks decide to trade the pick ricochet is still the best option at one.

Sr comes in at number two to the Washington Wizards, the 7 ft one center is the best big in the lottery with how well he protects the rim and can step out and guard the perimeter and he has a promising pick and pop game on offense up next at number three to the Houston Rockets is uconn guards.
