Jenyne Donaldson shares her experience with uterine fibroids to inspire women to get treatment

Up to 50% of women of childbearing age have uterine fibroids, benign growths that, for some, cause pain and other symptoms, which can be severe. Black women are more prone to getting uterine fibroids, although doctors aren't sure why. WBAL-TV 11 News anchor Jenyne Donaldson, is one of them. She has suffered from uterine fibroids for years, and she shared a very candid conversation about her battle with the condition and what she was finally able to do about it.
