Howard County father hit by car still faces long road to recovery

An Ellicott City father of five is fighting to get his life back. Last year, 11 News shared Carlos Bonilla's story. He was hit by a car and declared partially brain dead. Georgina Garcia said her husband was hit along Route 100 in Elkridge when pushing his daughter's car to the side of the road after it broke down. "Insurances are blaming everything on Carlos just because the car died and he didn't have his hazard light on," Garcia said. "It's very frustrating, because that person is not trying to take responsibility for their action."
