Heavy Rain Leads to Flash Flooding in Eastern Kansas

Heavy rains caused flash flooding in eastern Kansas on Wednesday, May 31.

This footage by Cole Allen shows a flooded roadway in Ottawa, about an hour away from Kansas City.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a flash flood warning for Ottawa and neighboring communities, urging residents to seek higher ground.
