Free meals available over summer

With summer break just weeks away, Baltimore County Public Schools have already turned its attention toward feeding thousands of students in need of a daily meal. Officials have been preparing for some time to fulfill the district's commitment to serve breakfast and lunch to students over the summer. The free meals will be available at select libraries and public schools beginning the first week after classes end for students in Baltimore County. Any of the county's more than 100,000 students who are 18 and younger can go to 13 school buildings for breakfast and lunch, or to 11 public libraries for lunch. Unlike years past, students will not be able to take the meals home.
