Florida Man Who Crashed Into Gas Station Charged

A Florida man was charged after he crashed a car into a gas station store, pinning a person to a wall, on June 20, local officials said.

The 37-year-old suspect drove a Kia Forte into the Seffner gas station at 12:24 am on Tuesday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

“Both the driver and the victim were transported to Tampa General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” according to the sheriff’s office.

“The footage of the car smashing through this business and straight into a victim is jarring, to say the least,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “It is an absolute miracle that the person pinned by the car did not sustain more serious injuries, and we’re glad to hear he will be ok.” Credit: Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office via Storyful
