I'm Tara Roberts with Yahoo Fantasy bringing you early waiver wire pickups.

Let's take a look at three pickups heading into week four.

Bruce Hall is still the lead back but we cannot overlook the production.

Braylyn Allen is having heading into the season.

I loved Allen as a late round pick because of his high upside if Bruce Hall were to go down with an injury, but Allen now has stand alone value.

Week two saw the breakout game with two touchdowns and week three was solid with 11 carries for 55 yards and three receptions for 13 yards.

It wasn't fancy, but it's a good sign that his volume is sticking and he'll continue to have stand alone value with massive upside.

If an injury were to happen, technically, the time to get in on Bucky Irving was last week but he is still just 35% rostered in Yahoo League.

So jump on it now, let's not mince words here.

Irving just looked flat out better than Rashad White and the metrics support it.

Irving finished the day with nine carries for 70 yards and three receptions.

Rashad White had just six carries for 17 yards and five receptions.

White has been dealing with an injury but the 2.8 yards per carry he had is the norm for him and it is inexcusable against the Denver Broncos.

Irving could entirely take over that role.

We're at a point now with tight ends where we are scraping and streaming to get points wherever we can.

Ket is coming off a 10 reception, 97 receiving yard performance with a touchdown.

We knew Chicago's offense was going to leave some pass catchers behind with the addition of Keenan Allen and Roma Dose, but with Allen out, Ket is stepping up and seeing an uptick in volume and has an excellent match up next week against the L A Rams.
