Can the Georgia Bulldogs win a national championship without starting quarterback Carson Beck?
It's a question that we've been asking ever since Beck went down with an elbow injury in the SEC championship, and now it's a reality for the Bulldogs.
It was announced on Monday evening that Carson Beck underwent successful UCL surgery and will be out for the remainder of the season.
So what's next for the Georgia Bulldogs?
Now they turned to Gunner Stockton, who's only attempted 51 passes in his two-year career at Georgia, but did take over for Carson Beck in the second half of the SEC championship game, who helped the Bulldogs with the assistance of their rushing attack and their run defense to an SEC title game.
It's a much different task for the young quarterback who will now be taking on one of the best defenses in all of college football against Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day in the second round of the college football playoff.
Now, what's next for Carson Beck?
Reportedly, he is expected to make a full recovery and should resume throwing in the spring of 2025.
