BOE approves $450K GTTF settlement

Baltimore City's financial board on Wednesday unanimously approved another settlement connected to the disgraced Gun Trace Task Force. The Board of Estimates' approval of a $450,000 settlement brings the number of cases settled by the city to 40, amounting to a cash payout of more than $22.5 million since 2020. In 2017, the federal government charged GTTF members for committing crimes that included racketeering and robbery.
