DALTON DEL DON: My question is Jaylen Waddle or DeVante Smith, middle of the second round in a PPR, who are you taking?
MATT HARMON: I think DeVante Smith is a better player, but I do have Jaylen Waddle ranked two spots higher in fantasy. So I would go with Jaylen Waddle from a fantasy perspective.
DALTON DEL DON: DeVonta Smith, on one hand, he has these splits, where he really benefited when Dallas Goedert was off the field last year. But on the other hand, after the teams like week seven bye last year, he out targeted AJ Brown. He's also small. He suffered that injury in the Super Bowl, but he looks like maybe-- you extrapolate those numbers, he looks like he could be an absolute monster.
MATT HARMON: Like splits happen. It is what it is. Some of that stuff can be noisy, but what we know-- just because what we know is DeVonta Smith is very, very good at football.
And I think he is when, we're talking about these guys, the number two receivers, across from like big-time alphas, we're talking Jaylen Waddle, we're talking Tee Higgins, we're talking DeVonta Smith, all those guys go in the second round, the best football player to me of those is DeVonta Smith. But I do have Jaylen Waddle ranked just a couple spots ahead of him, because I think, from a target concentration standpoint, the Miami Dolphins are even more concentrated than the Eagles, who are already highly concentrated as well.
DALTON DEL DON: I agree with you. I've been taking Waddle, but you have your Tua-- I mean, Tua is more of a concern than Hurts, obviously, too there.
MATT HARMON: Well, yeah.
[INTERPOSING VOICES]
DALTON DEL DON: All right. Briefly, just want to say, before we move on, Hurts ranked 32nd in the NFL last year in dropbacks per game in the second half, last year. Man, there's going to be regression, and the Eagles are going to be throwing the football more this year.
