2 shot in car in Sacramento County and drive themselves to hospital, sheriff says

A man and a woman were both shot on Thursday while driving near Watt Avenue and Auburn Boulevard, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office said that a man reportedly was on foot while firing a weapon that hit the two victims, but it is unknown whether the shooting was random or targeted. After being shot, the two victims drove themselves to a hospital and are expected to survive their injuries, the sheriff's office said.
