Mahomes found Mecole Hardman for a walk-off touchdown in overtime on Sunday to deliver a 25-22 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers in a thriller. It also marks their second win over the 49ers in the Super Bowl after beating San Francisco following the 2019 season.

Mahomes was stellar yet again, completing 34 of 46 passes for 333 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He led the Chiefs on a game-tying drive at the end of regulation, then the game-winning drive in overtime. He converted two first downs with his feet in the extra session, including a run on fourth-and-1 to keep the Chiefs alive.

The effort earned Mahomes his third Super Bowl MVP trophy.

  • Taylor Swift enjoyed Usher's halftime show:

  • And another Chiefs drive ends without a touchdown. Chiefs punt after a three-and-out. They squandered a timeout for a third-down run that got stuffed in the process. 49ers have the ball, leading 10-3 with 10:45 left in the third quarter.

  • Some cool video from the halftime show:

  • 49ers make the most of the punt, though. Great play on special teams pins the Chiefs against their own end zone.

  • Brutal start to the half for the Chiefs. Isaiah Pacheco can't corral a pitch from Patrick Mahomes on the first play, and Kansas City loses 12 yards.

  • Back to football after a long halftime. Did the Chiefs find a fix at the break for what's ailing their offense? They'll have the ball first, trailing 10-3.
