LAJETHRO JENKINS: You were just named the director of community relations for the Henry County Sheriff's Office. With your experience with law enforcement and the volatile history between, you know, them and the Black community, what do you think is needed for us to repair that relationship?
SHAQUILLE O'NEAL: I know how to bring people together. I know how to respect people. I know how to listen instead of thinking I know everything.
LAJETHRO JENKINS: Mm-hmm.
SHAQUILLE O'NEAL: So the new sheriff we have here is from the same place. We definitely have to teach-- reteach-- diversity. Definitely have to reteach sensitivity. And we definitely have to reteach communications, 'cause me and you from the same hood. I know how to-- I know I could talk to you with a certain slang--
LAJETHRO JENKINS: Mm-hmm
SHAQUILLE O'NEAL: --and you know, you're not taking offense to it. So--
LAJETHRO JENKINS: For sure.
SHAQUILLE O'NEAL: --you know, once that happens, you know, once we just continue to respect each other, I think we will start to, you know, close the gap.
LAJETHRO JENKINS: I've always thought you and Snoop were Teflon. But you caught a little bit of heat for what you said to Donovan.
SHAQUILLE O'NEAL: You are one of my favorite players, but you don't have what it takes to get to the next level. I said it on purpose. I wanted you to hear it. What do you have to say about that?
DONOVAN MITCHELL: All right.
LAJETHRO JENKINS: How do you feel about that?
SHAQUILLE O'NEAL: First of all, I can't catch heat. Let me tell you.

SHAQUILLE O'NEAL: The Shaq Bowl is the ultimate Super Bowl kickoff. And it's happening live right before the big game, Sunday, February the 7th, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Shout out to Mercari, Papa John's, Corona, and Pepsi for being the sponsors.
