Zendaya and the Cast of "K.C. Undercover" Say Goodbye to the Disney Channel Series

And their tributes are so emotional.

It's the end of an era for K.C. Undercover fans.

The Disney Channel series, which premiered in 2015, officially came to an end yesterday, February 2. Zendaya, who portrays the show's title character K.C. Cooper, took to social media to bid farewell to her journey as an undercover spy.

"Tonight is the last episode of K.C., and therefore my last episode on Disney channel," she wrote on Twitter, prompting a bunch of sad messages from fans of the series. "Noooooo," one viewer replied, adding that it was "one of the last good shows on Disney." Another fan responded by writing: "I’m so sad!!! I’ve been watching you on Disney Channel since the day Shake It Up premiered 😭💔."

Zendaya also posted a sentimental message on Instagram, along with an old photo of herself posing with the Disney Channel logo. "The end of an era," she wrote in the caption. "On to the next. Thank you for continuing to grow with me.💜"

And Zendaya wasn't the only star who got emotional about the conclusion of the series. Actress Veronica Dunne (who plays K.C.'s best friend Marisa Clark), tweeted two sweet behind-the-scenes photos, adding: "This show changed my life .Thank you to everyone who watched and who laughed. Thank you to the writers who brought Marisa to life. Thank you to each person who set foot on that stage and created a beautiful home. Thank you to my cast who became my family. I am forever grateful."

Kamil McFadden, AKA K.C.'s brother Ernie, tweeted another heartwarming photo, captioning it: "Family Forever." And Trinitee Stokes, who was part of that family as K.C.'s sister Judy, added: "I grew up a lot on this show and learned so many lessons. We had so much fun and shared so many laughs! And when I was in tears in this pic, my family was right there to cover me. I love you."

Of course, just because the show is coming to an end, doesn't mean that the magic has to be finished for fans. If you're feeling nostalgic, you can always check out our list of K.C. Cooper's best undercover designs (like the time she dressed as a professional chef, or a janitor). And, don't worry — as Zendaya herself pointed out: there's always reruns.
