Augsburg based Engels is a serious transfer target for Celtic, who have agreed a fee of around £11m for the midfielder, a club record. The 20-year-old left Club Brugge in the winter of 2023 to sign with the Bundesliga side and has gone on to make 53 appearances for the side, scoring three goals and grabbing nine assists.
18-year-old Duranville has yet to feature in the Bundesliga for Dortmund this season, having joined the side also in January of 2023 for €8.5m from Anderlecht. The teenager is highly rated but has only made four appearances for the Dortmund first team, with one goal scored.
Alexis Saelemaekers also returns, with Koni De Winter being called up after Jan Vertonghen retired from international football. Romelu Lukaku, who has recently signed for Napoli is also not included in the side.
