New York Rangers Assign Matt Rempe To Hartford, Recall Chad Ruhwedel
The New York Rangers announced they have recalled defenseman Chad Ruhwedel and assigned forward Matt Rempe to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Rempe was recalled yesterday for the Rangers game against the St. Louis Blues, he played 9:26 and took a penalty for a late hit on Jake Neighbours.

He is now pointless in four NHL games this season, he will likely join the Wolf Pack for their Wednesday game against Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Rempe has played higher-up in the lineup with Hartford, recording two goals and three points in 10 AHL games.
Ruhwedel has also been up and down this season. He has recorded two assists in seven AHL games and went pointless in his lone game with New York.
The 34-year-old's contract is worth $775,000 and runs through the remainder of the season.
