New York Rangers Assign Matt Rempe To Hartford Wolf Pack
The New York Rangers announced they have assigned forward Matt Rempe to their AHL affiliate Hartford Wolf Pack.
Rempe has no points or penalty minutes in two games played with the Rangers this season, he is averaging just 5:39 of ice time per game.
A sixth round pick in 2020, Rempe became a fan favorite in New York last season after getting into multiple heavyweight fights and throwing big hits.

The 22-year-old recorded 12 points in 43 games with Hartford and two points in 17 games with New York last season. He also played in 11 playoff games, racking up 177 penalty minutes over the 71 total games he played.

Rempe has 14 goals and 22 points in 96 career AHL games. He will have the chance to get more ice-time and attempt to round out his game with the Wolf Pack under new head coach Grant Potulny.
Hartford is off to a 2-1-1 start, Rempe's first chance to join the lineup is Oct. 25 against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
