New York Rangers Assign Dylan Garand To Hartford Wolf Pack
The New York Rangers announced they have assigned goaltender Dylan Garand to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Garand was recalled yesterday while Igor Shesterkin was away from the team for the birth of his child. With Shesterkin back with the team Garand will return to the AHL.
The 22-year-old has been stellar for the Hartford Wolf Pack this season, posting a 7-2-2 record with a .917 SP, 2.42 GAA, and a shutout.
A fourth round pick of the Rangers in 2020, Garand is in his third full professional season.
The Victoria, B.C., native is in the final year of a three-year deal that pays him $828,333 per-year, he will be a RFA at season's end.

Garand backed-up Jonathan Quick for the Rangers 7-5 loss to the Seattle Kraken on Dec. 8.
